I have officially never done this before! So please bear with me!!!
I want to finish that quote I began above. The apostle Paul writes, "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:10a) I begin there... simply because that's the story of my life - a story of God's grace and of finding my identity and my worth in bringing honor and praise to my King. Without His grace I would be a nothing, devoid of hope and of purpose.
So... by God's grace, here I am - a 22 year-old college student in beautiful Lancaster, California who has truly been blessed out of her mind! I have the most amazing family in the whole world. Just ask me about them. Any chance I can get I'll brag about them. They are truly the joy of my heart and the ones who help me keep my feet on the ground and my head out of the clouds (It climbs up there far too often).
My church family is beyond compare! They truly love one another like I've never seen or experienced. They beautifully exemplify 1 Peter 1:22. Which says, "Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart." Yep, that's Grace Chapel.
So... I love my spiritual family. I'll brag about them whenever I can too.
So... wherever life finds you today and whoever you are, know that there's a gracious God who loves you more than you could ever dream. Please know also that we would be nothing without the grace of this Almighty, all-loving Father. If you don't know Him, ask me about Him. I'll tell you. I found this quote today that I wanted to share with you.
"When being right becomes an end in itself, we lose sight of our own need for God's grace - a need that would be there even if we were faultless." Pretty amazing, huh?
Soli Deo Gloria!
